
Sara Aliza Eisen is an American television journalist presently affiliated with CNBC. She is a co-anchor for the channel's programs 'Squawkon the Street' and Closing Bell'. Although she's an Ohioan however, she was not interested in markets and currencies during her time in college. While she was studying at New York University, she did an internship with the start-up site ForexTV.com. It was there that she first had a chance to work with business news. She then earned a master's degree in broadcast journalism at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Then, she completed a four-month stint at Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. She returned to America and began working at Bloomberg's New York office. She became a TV anchor eventually. CNBC employed her in December 2013 as a reporter. After being a co-anchor for "Worldwide Exchange" and Power Lunch', she was hired by CNBC in December 2013. She then got the position at Closing Bell in 2018. Eisen is co-anchoring 'Squawk on the Street since the year 2014. One of the most renowned journalist in the business world today her primary area of focus has been global consumer news since she joined CNBC.
