Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Elis Taylor is the American stage and screen actress and producer. Her most well-known work is as a film actress for her roles as a character in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She has an BA in African-American Studies from Brown University and an MFA in Acting from the Tisch School of Arts New York University. Aunjanue L. Ellis is an American actor and producer, who has been involved in the world of film and television. Her career began as a theater actress and then appeared in a number of TV shows and independent as well as mainstream films. Her most well-known roles were in the role of Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) and on BET's massive The Book of Negroes. Both series received major critical acclaim, but she also won a lot of awards. Her professional acting debut as Ariel on the stage in The Tempest in 1995. On Broadway she's appeared on stage in Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Seeking the Genesis and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. In her film career, she's best known for performances such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. In the world of television, her role in ABC's police drama series High Incident has earned her praises.
