Mitchell currently co-stars in Eric Kripke's television series Revolution that airs on NBC. Joseph Day Mitchell is her stepfather, and Josephine Marian Mitchell (nee Jenkins) is her mother. They is a lawyer from Dallas. Mitchell and her mother moved to Dallas Texas in 1970 where her mother married Joseph Mitchell in 1975. Mitchell was a student at Booker T. Washington High School located in Dallas, Texas. It is a public Magnet school. Mitchell is the eldest of three sisters: Katherine Day Kate Mitchell, Kristina Helen Kristie Mitchell and Kristina Mitchell. Kristie Mitchell.
